MINUTES OF THE MIDNIGHT CRISIS AT OLYMPUS

[22:00] Committee begins, crisis revealed: Zeus has gone missing from Olympus without a

trace, and no witnesses are willing to speak plainly. The delegates must decide what has

become of Zeus, who will take his place, and what threats, be they mortal, titan or giants can

come over Olympus.

[22:11] Motion raised by Hermes to enter an SSL; 12 speakers, 45 seconds per speaker.

[22:14] Delegate of Hermes blames Titans, wants to work in unity to ensure Zeus' safety

[22:15] Delegate of Persephone wishes to find their father by using all resources possible.

[22:17] Delegate of Aphrodite wants to find Zeus' replacement for the sake of the world

[22:18] Delegate of Artemis doesn't accept any crime against them and wants a replacement for

Zeus fast.

[22:19] Delegate of Nike urges the counsel with pity to help bring Zeus

[22:21] Delegate of Hera is grieving, does not like other gods taking Zeus' place

[22:22] Delegate of Iris has given his service and asks permission to use her rainbows to find

Zeus

[22:22] Delegate of Athena: "I will never bow down to any threats or any other gods." "None of

you deserve his throne." "I will bring Zeus back." "Kneel to my power"

[22:24] Delegate of Poseidon has the same claim as Athena

[22:25] A new revelation: Artemis has sent hounds to tear up the human realm to search for

Zeus; it has only ended up causing more destruction. Another mystery figure claiming to be

Zeus'

[22:27] Delegate of Hades holds power, wishes to gain the throne and make the Underworld the

superior realm

[22:29] Delegate of Ares, god of war, wishes to use force to dictate this committee

[22:30] Delegate of Thanatos claims his secret is the most important

[22:30] Delegate of Demeter claims the throne; "I choose whether you prosper or rot"

[22:31] Delegate of Apollo spins a rhyme on the committee accused Hades of "smoking pot"

[22:33] Delegate of Iris: "No one man can hold this much power" wants a democratic Olympus

[22:35] Delegate of Eris claims the kidnapper to be within this council

[22:38]Delegate of Nemesis: "Nothing can hide secrets from Nemesis"

[22:39]Hypnos also supports the democratic committee

[22:40] Hephaestus pins this on Zeus "it's his attention tactic"

[22:41] New revelation: The weather has taken a turn on the mortal realm; bad 2 floods 300

casualties Zeus needs to come back, or Olympians disappear

[22:43] Delegate of Hestia wants inclusion and democratic Olympus and also wants to help the

people

[22:44] Delegate of Hecate has been in this situation before to find Persephone. They offer their

services

[22:46] Delegate of Aslepscius wants him back as a healing god; he doesn't want the throne but

wants Zeus back

[22:47] Delegate of Eros says no Olympian can take Zeus' place

[22:47] Delegate of Dionysus wants Zeus back

[22:50] Motion raised by aphrodite for a 5 minute unmoderated caucus, passed chair's

discretion

[22:58] Athena used their foresight to find the consequence of an action (Zeus' absence) and

that reveals an unknown delegate's secret: The Eternal flame has begun flickering by Zeus'

absence, no matter who usurps the throne, Olympus may collapse. The flame may only re-ignite

when a worthy ruler takes the throne or Zeus' return.

[23:15 – 23: 19] The brothers Hades and Poseidon seem more eager to claim the throne,

believing themselves to be the rightful heir. Hades earns credibility by revealing he knows Zeus'

situation claiming he is alive. Hera still doesn't believe anyone should take Zeus' throne.

[23:19] Delegate of Nike (claims to) reveal their secret: if someone wants to rightfully take the

throne, they must seek Nike's support.

[23:20] crisis update: The mystery man is revealed to be poseidon and he takes the throne by

force, but before he can he is interrupted by Hera who objects to this due to Poseidon having

half-bloods, Hera calls on Hades to stop him and this leads to war between the brothers

[23:24] It was revealed that Hera, Athena and Poseidon had tried to overthrow Zeus before with

the help of Apollo in secret, this plan had failed.

[23:26] A new trio was formed "The Hcube" led by Hades, containing Hypnos and Hermes. In

response to an attack from Poseidon, He sent 12 horses to attack Hades. All of those horses

were captured.

[23:28] The people of Greece raised a motion: To strip Poseidon of his power, it passed with 18

votes for it, however as a result all the water in Greece vanished too.

[23:35] Motion for a 5 minute open floor raised by Delegate of Poseidon. Passed by Chair's

discretion.

[23:44] Zeus is confirmed alive by Hermes.

[23:45] Session is temporarily suspended for a break

[00:00] Crisis update: Hades revealed an ancient truth. After a long stand off the brothers reached an agreement. Hades revealed the flame was tied to his life, as long as he lived the flame would live; Hades death would mean the flame extinguishes and vice versa. The death of Hades consequentially means all the gods lose their powers and their immortality.Understanding that Hades is the key to Olympus's survival; Poseidon makes the pact and ensures no harm comes to Hades.

[00:14] Hypnos raises a motion for a 5 minute open floor and it passes.

[00:26] Crisis Update: Hypnos, Thanatos, Nike, Eros, Eris were the main perpetrators who

kidnapped Zeus in order to give the lesser gods more power and weaken Zeus' authority

[00:35] an unmoderated caucus is passed by the discretion of the chair and here the 2 blocs:

the smaller gods and the Olympians have begun making their resolutions

[01:10] The Olympian gods Present their solution:

● The first clause condemns Thanatos and Nike to 400 years in the underworld and

condemned them from participating in Olympic discussions for 100 years after their

return to the council

● The second clause asks for Poseidon to be restored to his power to:

Restore the supply of water in the oceans of Greece

○ Restore life to atlantis

○ Restore Horses and animals under Poseidon's reign

● They urge Thanatos, Nike and all the other minor gods to give up Zeus' location and in

response they will make a task force of at least 5 gods to go and free him.

● Recognizing the power vested in Hades as the god upon whom the Earth lies to urge

other gods to help lend their aid/ powers to return Zeus back to Olympus

● They propose the creation of a task force called Locators of Gods(LOG), for precisely

these situations: It will consist of Olympians and will:

○ Hold meetings twice a week in the event of a disappearance

○ Will keep track of all gods

● They want to use Aphrodite's abilities to help the resolution pass.

[01:25] The Smaller Gods present their solution:

● They request the Olympian gods to recognise smaller gods in all decisions made by the

Olympian council and ensure equal say and equal distribution of power between the

Olympian and smaller gods. They also want to remove the use of derogatory terms such

as "Lesser" or "Smaller".

● They call for a water source non-dependant on Poseidon for the mortal world:

○ They wish to transform the underworld's fire river into drinkable water for mortals

using Hecate's magic

○ They will place protective wards on the Underworld's river and the Transformed

water to anticipate Olympian wrath.

● They aim to create a council overseeing the Eternal flame's strength. This counsel convenes weekly and discusses the status of the flame and it's binding to Hades;

Offering researching ways to make sure the flame is not binded to or dependant on any

god.

● They want to punish Hera, Athena and Poseidon for trying to overthrow Zeus and as

such wish to create strong deterrents for attempted overthrowings; They also may

choose to vote on removing the three gods' powers.

● They Demand for their bloc to provide the resources to renew Olympus:

○ They will deploy bronze automata from Hephaestus to guard the gates of Mount

Olympus.

○ Authorizing Hermes to use his speed to impound all unauthorized scrolls leaving

or entering Attica.

○ The followers of Eris helping make shrines for gods across the other bloc for

intelligence gathering.

● They wish to call upon the Titans to aid in altering the ties of the Eternal flame to Gaia,

mother Earth, so that any consequences enacted to the Earth will directly affect

Olympus; the flame won't be affected by a weak Hades; and that no one god will be able

to bend Olympus' stand.

● Call for Artemis to pull his hounds and Hell hounds out of the underworld to ensure

Hades' protection is not dependent on the Hellhounds.

[01:42] Voting on the detectives begins

[01:44] Both papers failed voting

[01:45] The Gods have decided to cast individual anonymous votes on who they believe is most

fit to rule. The only rule being they cannot vote for themselves.

[01:49] The top 3 delegates chosen are Hera, Hades and Poseidon. They now present

speeches to see who is most worthy of the throne.

[01:53] Hera, Hades and Poseidon are voted on again.

[01:59] Hera is now crowned the queen of Olympus

[02:00] Committee officially suspended.
